Hotep (Peace)!! Welcome to Imani Education Circle Charter School (IEC). We are a community based public school which uses an African-Centered approach to teach Reading, Math, the Sciences and Technology.

High student academic achievement is the primary goal of Imani. By combining a holistic, integrative constructivist curriculum infused with the holistic and cultural richness of African Heritage Concepts, we will develop young people who are competent, confident and conscientious.

IEC is named for the seventh principle of Kwanzaa which means "Faith." Imani is essentially a profound and enduring belief in and commitment to all that is of value to us as a family, community, people and culture.
